Access to AutoDESA Documentation

The AutoDESA website is for those interested in the the standardisation of data exchange in the Australian Automotive Industry.

This website provides a resource and communication centre to facilitate sharing of information between members, to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas, to communicate published standards to the community and to invite feedback from the automotive industry.

There are three levels of access within this site:

Public User

As a public user, you have access to general information about AutoDESA and the date of forthcoming general meetings.
You may register on the site by providing your contact details to access further information (registered users may also 'unsubscribe' at any time).

Registered User

Benefits of registering:

  • You can download published standards
  • View details such as agenda, location etc of the next AutoDESA general meeting
  • You are placed on our mailing list to receive by email occasional updates and news
  • Registered members cannot view restricted information such as minutes of meetings, technical guidelines, etc.

To Register

  • Select 'Create an Account' (below the 'Login or Register' form on the left)
  • Enter your profile (contact) details requested on the online registration form. Please include a phone number
  • After completing the form, click Add/Update
  • An e-mail automatically will be sent to you with a hyperlink to activate your account
  • Financial members: If the Secretary has not increased your access within 24hrs, please contact him.

Financial Member

The Financial Members area of the site is restricted to employees of financial member companies. This area includes:

  • details of interface work in progress
  • schema files
  • schema development guidelines documentation - How to develop a schema, including document templates. These documents are the result of significant sharing of information and collaboration by Financial Members over a period of some years.
  • meeting details and agenda
  • minutes of meetings
